Tattooing Philosophy 

 

Body modification has existed as long as our bodies have.

I'm excited to be able to take part in bringing clients closer to the version of themselves that want to be.

​

 When you're in my tattoo chair we have a shared goal: to make something together that fits your unique vision for your body.

​

I am always comfortable talking about bodies and all the complicated emotions that come with them. When getting a tattoo, scars, stretch marks, body fat may come up. That is natural part of the vulnerability of being tattooed. It's my job to hold that, and I genuinly enjoy it.

My principles behind my tattoo practice are inspired by my previous work in public and reproductive health. I see my job as "bodywork". I ascribe to the political framework of reproductive justice activists who state that all people  deserve to be treated with "safety, dignity and respect" .
